Contests/Competitions
For those who like some competition, we are about to begin the 20th year of our fantasy NBA basketball league!

Every year we have an NBA playoffs contest! To see how I do compared to everyone else, including some "experts", take a look at our playoff grid. Also check out my playoff skinny “inside the paint” to read my take on each matchup. For the opening of each season, our gang makes their predictions on who will make the playoffs and more! Here are our 2008-09 picks!

My Teams
Okay, I have more than one! For the 2007-08 season, I returned to my roots: The Boston Celtics. That's right, I've got KG on my team! And with the acquisition of good guy Elton Brand, the Sixers are back in the fold for the 2008-09 season. Of course, I reserve the right to root for Miami, Dallas, Phoenix, and even more teams as the circumstances warrant. I've also been going to Sixers' games for years, and have a few years' worth of stuff here on the site. And my home state team, the Nets, are a really fun team to watch. Check out these sections, which also include a number of photos as listed below.

MartyTown Photos
I have photos from lots of games. In our Nets' section, we have photos from the 2002 finals vs. the Lakers and "the scene" inside the arena. We added more pics from the 2003 finals, with more pictures of the scene and autographs.

In our Sixers' section, we have photos from the 2001 season vs. the Lakers and vs. Michael Jordan, and playoff pics vs. the Pacers and vs. the Lakers again in the finals. We also have autographs from the 2001 playoffs and the 2002 All-Star game. And we even have some pictures of our meeting with World B Free.

From our Florida trips we've got the Heat vs. the Pacers in 2000 and the Heat vs. the Magic in 1999 and 2003. We've also been to home games of the Celtics, Lakers, Mavericks, and Suns with pictures from our visits.
