The Peach State

You may not know it, but georgia is a big state. In fact, it's the biggest state east of the mississippi. After many years of just passing through, lately I've got georgia on my mind!

In 2001, I explored for the first time the coastal cities of savannah (and charleston, sc). These are two jewels that are absolute must sees. If you go, be sure to read "the book" (midnight in the garden of good and evil).

Then in the spring of 2008, I had masters golf tickets. We turned our trip into a mini "tour of the south" including another stop in savannah.
