Finally, we made it to the cayman islands in 2002! We've heard a lot about this place over the years from Mike W, and now we know why. This place is fantastic! It's a pretty small, laid back place, everyone speaks English, and the weather is almost always great. We found some great restaurants, bars, and breakfast spots too. Some of our favorites include:

Breakfast
Ye Olde English Bakery. A great bakery in downtown Georgetown serving scones, pastries, a "Full English Breakfast", and something called "savouries".

Lunch
The Cracked Conch. At the northern end of Seven Mile Beach overlooking the ocean, you can eat lunch and watch people diving into the water with full wetsuits. I tried the conch soup!
The Lazy Lizard Beachouse Bar and Grill. A fun, casual restaurant and bar with outdoor seating underneath some big trees. Also an indoor area. Unfortunately, I couldn't find a website for this place.

Dinner
Fidel Murphy's. As you might guess, this is an Irish/Caribbean style restaurant and bar. Excellent food, and they have live music too.
Naked Fish. Just south of downtown Georgetown, this restaurant has excellent evening dining on its screened porch overlooking the ocean.
The Landmark Pub. Great fish and chips and a wide selection of pub beers at this restaurant we discovered our last night in town. Unfortunately, I couldn't find a website for this place.
