Now here's the kind of action movie that I like. Directed by the same guy who wrote All the Usual Suspects (Christopher McQuarrie), it involves two guys (Del Toro and Phillippe) who decide to kidnap a pregnant woman (Lewis) and attempt to collect the ransom off a somewhat shady rich guy (which it turns out, Lewis is the surrogate mother for). The rich guy sends James Caan and some other young guns to bring back Lewis. The film has some twists and turns, and eventually leads up to the big showdown in Mexico similar to Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid (whose real-life names the kidnappers have adopted in this movie). Follow? Perhaps not, but this movie is definitely worth a look, and then probably a second look to see what you missed the first time.
