I'm
not one for movies about ghosts and the supernatural. With
these kind of stories, the "rules" are unknown, so there
are no limits on what might happen. That's why I was so surprised
how much I liked this film. The ghosts aren't the usual haunting types,
the boy who sees dead people all the time (Haley Joel Osment) is terrific,
and Bruce Willis is at the top of his game in an understated kind
of role. It's not a ghost story at all, but a movie about living life
now and not dwelling on the past, because you never know how life
is going to turn out. Powerful in every way, with a totally surprising
ending that left me exhausted and a little teary eyed. Yes, I admit
it. A must see!
