South Carolina

Just like I had missed out on north carolina, I had skipped by south carolina too. It was just a pass through on the way to florida. But lately, I've come to really like this very southern state, from the low country cooking to the very beautiful southern style architecture!

In 2001, I explored for the first time the coastal cities of charleston and savannah (georgia). These are two jewels and absolute must sees.

Then in the spring of 2008, I had masters golf tickets. We turned our trip into a mini "tour of the south" with a return to charleston and a first time stop in columbia.
