Big Sky Country!

Before our 2007 trip through eastern montana, we hadn't been here since 1968. That's right: 1968, almost 40 years ago.

Back in 1968 we drove out west, through texas and then california, and up into western canada. From canada we came down into western montana, through glacier national park and due south toward yellowstone national park. That's a part of the state that is definitely on my list of places to revisit.

But for 2007, we only visited the eastern plains of montana: little big horn and billings. That's because the major focus of this trip was south dakota. Read the entire montana 2007 story.
